Starting this winter, ITS will begin rolling out Duo, our two-factor authentication solution, to the Carleton community.
Two-factor authentication is an IT security solution that protects your account from illicit login attempts. Once enabled, you will login to select Carleton systems using something you know (your MyCarletonOne password), plus something you have (your phone, tablet, landline, or hardware token). If someone obtains your password, they will not be able to use it to login to a supported Carleton service without also having access to that second factor.

Set up Duo today and be entered into a draw to win $100 on your Campus Card! To do so, simply log into https://i.carleton.ca/its/duo/ and follow the steps provided.
Contest closes on December 21st, at which time the self-enrolment portal will be made unavailable until after the holiday break. If you are one of the 400 individuals already set up with Duo, rest assured, your name will be added to the draw as well.
The draw will take place on January 4th and the winner will be notified via email and announced in the Top 5 on Monday, January 7.
Draws will be held in January and February as well, so the earlier you register, the more draws you qualify for.
