All you need is a laptop or portable device with a Wi-Fi compatible network interface card and a MyCarletonOne account.<\/p>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-cu-wireless-for-mac-os\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-mac-os\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">CU-Wireless for MAC OS<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-mac-os\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<h2>CU-Wireless for MAC OS<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>In the top right hand corner of the desktop make sure that the Wi-Fi is turned <strong>ON<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-395\" Wi-Fi icon.<br \/>\nit should display all of the Wireless networks that your MAC can detect.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-396 size-full\" https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screen-Shot-2016-12-14-at-2.59.52-PM-360x52.png 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1324px) 100vw, 1324px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click on the CU-Wireless option.<br \/>\nThis should open up the login box.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your MyCarletonOne username and password.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that the 802.1X is set to automatic.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Remember this network\u2019 option.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If your username and password is correct, it should then connect you to the CU-Wireless.<\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-cu-wireless-for-windows-10-11\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-windows-10-11\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">CU-Wireless for Windows 10 \/ 11<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-windows-10-11\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<h2>CU-Wireless for Windows 10 \/ 11<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn on your wireless device.<\/li>\n<li>Search for CU-Wireless.<\/li>\n<li>Click connect.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your MyCarletonOne username and password.<\/li>\n<li>Click connect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-cu-wireless-for-linux\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-linux\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">CU-Wireless for Linux<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-linux\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<h2>CU-Wireless for Linux<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"X5LH0c\">\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Open the system menu from the right side of the top bar.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Select Wi-Fi Not Connected. &#8230;<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Click Select Network.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Click the name of the network you want, then click Connect. &#8230;<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Enter the password when prompted and click Connect.\n<ul class=\"X5LH0c\">\n<li>if you are having issues, set EAP method to LEAP if available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-cu-wireless-for-chromebook\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-chromebook\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">CU-Wireless for Chromebook<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-cu-wireless-for-chromebook\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<h2>CU-Wireless for Chromebook<\/h2>\n<p>To connect your Chromebook to the CU-Wireless network, use the same configuration as you would an Android phone, how to found <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/set-up-wireless-on-mobile-device\/#sect3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<h2>Connect to eduroam<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Select eduroam from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.<\/li>\n<li>When asked for a userid and password enter:\n<ol>\n<li>Your <a
