First you create the message,\u00a0then you test it. If the message does not look the way you intended, you can modify the message, then test it\u00a0again. Once the message is correct, you can then approve the message and Lyris starts processing a copy of the\u00a0message that gets sent to each member of your list.<\/p>\n<p>From within the Lyris web interface (<a href=\"https:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/\">https:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p>To create a new mailing using the Lyris web interface, from the left menu bar, go to Mailings and select New Mailing.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-885 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/NewMailing1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"646\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/NewMailing1-1.png 1184w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/NewMailing1-1-160x110.png 160w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/NewMailing1-1-240x165.png 240w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/NewMailing1-1-768x528.png 768w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/NewMailing1-1-400x275.png 400w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/wp-content\/uploads\/NewMailing1-1-360x248.png 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 646px) 100vw, 646px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You should to include a Subject line, and then add the text of your message on to the HTML message window. If\u00a0necessary, you can format the text and insert other HTML elements such as links or pictures. Send another test to\u00a0confirm: you want to do this every time you modify the content of the message.
