An online survey is created for the project to collect the feedback from stakeholders and project team members. This survey asks three questions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>What went well?<\/li>\n<li>What were some challenges?<\/li>\n<li>What are your recommendations for improvement?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The responses to this survey are analyzed for overarching themes, and then consolidated into a written report. A follow-up meeting is used to review and discuss the findings of this report, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/project-office\/cu-files\/project-final-report-template\/\">Close Out Report<\/a> is then created and filed in the appropriate Teams site.<\/p>\n<p>To facilitate the completion of these and other tasks, the Project Manager must complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/project-office\/cu-files\/close-out-checklist-gate-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ITS PMO Gate 4 \u2013 Close Out Checklist<\/a>, and submit it to the Manager, PMO for approval to proceed to the next phase, Closing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/project-office\/methodology\/project-lifecycle\/\">Back to Project Lifecycle Main Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Close Out phase is used to allow the project team and stakeholders to reflect on the performance and activities of the project in order to identify best practices for future projects.
