The Microsoft Teams Scheduling Assistant is a feature used when creating a new meeting to see attendees’ availability and find a time that works for everyone<\/p>\n

How to Use the Scheduling Assistant:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to your Calendar:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>In the Microsoft Teams app, select the Calendar tab on the left-hand side.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Start a New Meeting:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Click the “New meeting” button, usually in the top right corner.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Enter Meeting Details:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Add the meeting’s title, location, and required or optional attendees in the “People” field.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Select the Scheduling Assistant:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>In the new meeting window, click on the “Scheduling Assistant” tab to open it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. View and Find Availability:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>The Scheduling Assistant will display the attendees’ calendars, showing their availability with different visual indicators (shaded, blank, single lines, etc.).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Select a Time:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Click on a time slot within the grid where all required attendees are available.\u00a0<\/span>You can also adjust the dates or use the “Suggested” times feature to find a suitable slot.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Send the Invite:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Once you’ve selected the time, go back to the meeting details and click “Send” to invite everyone.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
