Read Me First<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Teams site owners <\/strong><\/em>must be staff\/faculty<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 but Teams owners<\/em> can add anyone as a member:
    \n\u00a0– another staff\/faculty member (pick list),
    \n– Carleton student (use their full @cmail.carleton.ca address), or
    \n– external-to-Carleton users (use their email address).<\/i><\/li>\n
  2. Your Teams site members<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>must have\u00a0enabled<\/strong> their Office 365 \u201cextras\u201d license for permission to log into Teams: staff\/faculty<\/a> | students<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Invite External-to-Carleton Teams site members<\/strong>\u00a0by their full email address; they will be asked to create a password.
    \n(Tip: If the external user’s institution uses Office 365 and you invite the external user using their Office 365-recognized email address (you may need to ask the for it), they will then be able to log into your<\/em> Carleton Teams site using their<\/em>\u00a0pre-existing institutional password.)<\/li>\n
  4. When logging into Teams web site <\/strong>or app, <\/strong>use your full Carleton email address<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 e.g. JaneDoe@cunet<\/b>.carleton.ca<\/span>, not<\/strong>\u00a0your alias,\u00a0jane.doe@carleton.ca<\/span>.<\/li>\n
  5. Note for Mac users: <\/strong>For best results consider using\u00a0Chrome<\/a>, but the Safari\u00a0web browser<\/strong>, with this preference unchecked,<\/strong>\u00a0will<\/em> work with the Teams web interface:
