As of Monday, March 4, 2019, staff and faculty must connect to network\u00a0<\/span>printers via ITS print server and no longer by IP address. This change will mainly\u00a0affect Mac and Unix users as most\u00a0Windows users already connect to network\u00a0printers via the\u00a0print server.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>This change ensures only authorized users can connect to\u00a0our\u00a0network\u00a0printers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>To connect to a printer via ITS print server follow these instructions:\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/connect-a-network-printer-in-your-department\/<\/a> <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
