Impacted buildings are currently running on emergency power. Facilities Management staff are working with Ottawa Hydro to resume full services as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To ensure the continued safety and well-being of everyone on campus, the following buildings remain without power and will be closed, effective immediately:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Architecture<\/li>\n<li>Dunton Tower<\/li>\n<li>Azrieli Pavilion<\/li>\n<li>Azrieli Theatre<\/li>\n<li>MacOdrum Library<\/li>\n<li>Southam Hall<\/li>\n<li>Patterson Hall<\/li>\n<li>Tory Building<\/li>\n<li>Nideyin\u00e0n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In order to protect the remaining electrical supply across campus, FMP has had to reduce cooling to several buildings. This list below is subject to change however currently the following have had cooling capacity levels reduced:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Loeb<\/li>\n<li>SSRB<\/li>\n<li>HCI\/VSIM<\/li>\n<li>ARISE<\/li>\n<li>Richcraft<\/li>\n<li>Pigiarvik<\/li>\n<li>Nesbitt<\/li>\n<li>Nicol<\/li>\n<li>Canal<\/li>\n<li>Mackenzie<\/li>\n<li>Minto<\/li>\n<li>Renfrew House<\/li>\n<li>Lanark House<\/li>\n<li>Glengarry House<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>FMP will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available and as conditions change. Please check your university email regularly for these updates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>7:30 AM Friday, July 12:<\/p>\n<p>Due to a significant power outage overnight, there is currently no power or cooling in several buildings on campus including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Architecture<\/li>\n<li>Dunton Tower<\/li>\n<li>Azrieli Pavilion<\/li>\n<li>Azrieli Theatre<\/li>\n<li>MacOdrum Library<\/li>\n<li>Southam Hall<\/li>\n<li>Patterson Hall<\/li>\n<li>Tory Building<\/li>\n<li>Nideyin\u00e0n<\/li>\n<li>Loeb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Facilities Management and Planning is working with Hydro Ottawa to restore power. It is not known at this time when power will be restored. \u00a0Should people need to enter to retrieve items, they will be able to do so.
