This may change over time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2192Note:<\/strong> the built-in mail in iOS (iPhone, iPad) <strong>now works<\/strong> with O365 2-factor (tested with iOS 11.3.1)\u2190<\/p>\n<p>If you choose not to use Outlook, and your desired email program does NOT work with O365 2-factor authentication, you must create an “App Password.”<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Got to <a href=\"http:\/\/aka.ms\/MFASetup\">aka.ms\/MFASetup<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click on “App Passwords”<\/li>\n<li>Click on “Create”<\/li>\n<li>Enter a name \u2013 e.g. “Mac Mail” if you’re just using it with Mac Mail<\/li>\n<li>Copy the generated “App Password”<\/li>\n<li>When you configure your app, use the “App Password” instead of your MC1 password.
