\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>The Zelikovitz Centre is pleased to organize and sponsor an annual interdisciplinary graduate student conference called the \u201cStudent Colloquium\u201d. Each year, a theme is chosen to bring students working in the area of Jewish Studies into conversation with students working in a wide range of disciplines across the university.<\/p>\n

2026 Annual Student Colloquium<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies and the Religion Department, College of the Humanities at Carleton University invite students across disciplines and institutions at the BA Honours, MA, and doctoral levels to share their research with peers in a scholarly setting.<\/p>\n

This year’s colloquium will take place on April 10, 2026<\/strong>. (Paper submissions<\/a> and inquiries can be sent to\u00a0zelikovitzcolloquium@cunet.carleton.ca<\/a> by March 12, 2026.)<\/p>\n

Co-chairs Jalil Aalab<\/strong>\u00a0and Peter Heyck<\/strong> are organizing the colloquium with a call for papers<\/a> from a variety of disciplines and institutions. The colloquium will the feature student research centered around the theme of Religion: Tradition & Transformation<\/a>. As in past years, this year’s colloquium is expected to be well attended by faculty and students, who will be able to engage in thoughtful and collegial discussion in response to the impressive research to be presented.<\/p>\n
