Prior to this she had a long career at Queen\u2019s University culminating as Associate Vice-Principal (Research) in the Office of the Vice-Principal Research, where she was responsible for promoting multi-faceted research initiatives involving cross-disciplinary teams of researchers and external industrial and community partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has held positions on the Board of Directors of the BioCap Canada Foundation,&nbsp;Insect Biotec Canada Inc., the Kingston Technology Council and the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Communications and Information Technology. She also served as the President of the Kingston Technology Exchange Centre, a not-for-profit research incubator, and as Chair of the Eastern Lake Ontario Regional Innovation Network.
