Welcome to Latin American and Caribbean Studies (also known as LACS) at Carleton University.  The LACS program provides a vibrant interdisciplinary space for the study of Latin American and Caribbean Studies.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LACS program provides a close knit and intimate community for students and faculty.  If you are interested in the study of the region and would like to be part of a program that gets to know its students by name, then you can join the community in the following ways:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduate Specialization in LACS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Masters students working on projects related to Latin America and the Caribbean can join our community by applying to the graduate specialization<\/a>.  If you are currently a graduate student at Carleton working on a LACS project, send us an email get your profile listed on the LACS webpage.  You can email us at lacs@carleton.ca<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undergraduate Minor in LACS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

 If you\u2019re pursuing an undergraduate degree and would like to develop regional expertise to enhance your program of study, consider pursuing a minor in LACS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can subscribe to our listserv <\/em>here<\/em><\/a>.  We use the listserv to share information about relevant events and announcements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
