She is a&nbsp; Geographer by training, and her work is located broadly in the field of Political Ecology, with a focus on food systems in Haiti, Thailand, and Indigenous contexts here in Canada. She is particularly interested in processes of social differentiation, displacement, and \u2018othering\u2019 through food systems, with an emphasis on how class, race and gender intersect to influence food security, dietary choices, and access to land.
