Her dissertation, \u201cBy Their Own Efforts\u201d: First Nations Health Policy in Canada, 1940s-1970s,&#8221; showcases her work, which explores the intersections of healthcare and equity. In 2025, she began a fellowship (the AMS Fellow in Residence for Healthcare History and Interdisciplinary Exchange) with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ams-inc.on.ca\/about-us-2\/\">AMS <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ams-inc.on.ca\/about-us-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Healthcare<\/a>, a charitable organization. Lucy is the granddaughter of the Honourable Landon Pearson.
