CJCR publishes theoretical, empirical and policy articles &#8212; and includes a section for youth submissions. Its aim is to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and engaging in debate and dialogue regarding questions and issues pertaining to children&#8217;s rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Honourable Landon Pearson and Virginia Caputo, Director of the Centre, guest edited the inaugural issue released in 2014 and dedicated to commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The<a href=\"https:\/\/ojs.library.carleton.ca\/index.php\/cjcr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Canadian Journal of Children\u2019s Rights (Revue Canadienne des Droits des Enfants)<\/a> is <a href=\"https:\/\/ojs.library.carleton.ca\/index.php\/cjcr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">available through the open access system at Carleton University&#8217;s MacOdrum Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"2024-commemorative-issue\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2024 commemorative issue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The issue is dedicated to\u00a0commemorating the legacy of the Hon. Landon Pearson and is guest edited and introduced by her granddaughter, Lucy Vorobej, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto.
