Jean-Simon Schoenholz practices litigation with Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP. He represents clients in both official languages in a variety of civil, regulatory, disciplinary and administrative matters. Jean-Simon has been a Contract Instructor with the Department since 2018 teaching both Approaches to Legal Studies and Administrative Law.

Jean-Simon’s has represented clients before the courts of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has acted in various administrative matters before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and on judicial review applications before the Federal Court. Jean-Simon also regularly advises clients on a wide range of regulatory compliance issues.

Before private legal practice and teaching, Jean-Simon served as a judicial law clerk to the Honourable Justice Suzanne Côté at the Supreme Court of Canada. He had previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honourable Mr. Justice Peter Annis at the Federal Court of Canada.
