DESCRIPTION:This mini-colloquium features&nbsp;guest speaker, Paulina Ochoa Espejo (Political Science, Haverford College), as well as&nbsp;a discussion with Prof. Zoran Oklopcic and Prof. Stacy Douglas,&nbsp;who will respond to the speaker&#039;s paper in light of the way in which it touches upon their own research.



About the Speaker:







Paulina Ochoa Espejo is a political theorist who works at the intersection of democratic theory and the history of political thought.&nbsp;Before joining the faculty at Haverford, she was an Assistant Professor at Yale University, and a Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Fellow at the University Center for Human Values, Princeton University. She has been a visiting professor at CIDE in Mexico City, and a Carey Postdoctoral Fellow at the Erasmus Institute in the University of Notre Dame.
