DESCRIPTION:Carleton University’s Graduate Legal Studies Association (GLSA) will be hosting the 17th annual Legal Studies Conference, titled “Conversations and Solutions Surrounding National and Global Challenges”. This event will be held via zoom on Wednesday May 29, 2024, and will feature emerging scholars, departmental highlights, and opportunities for interdisciplinary engagement. This year’s theme engages with past, present, and future sociolegal issues that shape the ever-evolving field of law and legality. This interdisciplinary conference offers graduate studies across disciplines an opportunity to present their research while developing conference skills at the beginning of their careers.
