He is the author of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/books\/completing-humanity\/2915166E3574886D8A62E5E77D347702\">Completing Humanity: The International Law of Decolonization, 1960\u201382<\/a><\/em> (Cambridge University Press, 2023). Recounting the struggle to transform international law during the last major wave of decolonization, <em>Completing Humanity<\/em> documents and reassesses post-1945 decolonization from the standpoint of the \u201cThird World\u201d and the jurists who elaborated and defended its interests. He is also the author of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/global.oup.com\/academic\/product\/formalizing-displacement-9780198717430?cc=us&amp;lang=en&amp;%23\">Formalizing Displacement: International Law and Population Transfers<\/a><\/em> (Oxford University Press, 2015), which situates \u201cpopulation transfer\u201d within the broader history of international law by examining the interwar exchange of minorities between Greece and Turkey\u2014the first legally structured large-scale endeavour in compulsory population exchange in modern international history.
