Deniz P. Konuk is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University. Her research explores the relationship between law and the technologies of knowledge in police violence cases. She examines the trials with a focus on audio-visual recordings of \u2018use of lethal force\u2019 within the context of Turkey and analyzes how legal frames establish what counts as evidence and what counts as state violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
