Jaime is a PhD student in the department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University. Her doctoral research focuses on the symbiotic harms of incarceration, specifically how the mother-child relationship comes to be (re)shaped by incarceration. Her general research interests include critical prison studies, families and incarceration, and carceral geography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
