She holds a Master\u2019s in Human Rights and Social Policies from the University of General San Mart\u00edn (Argentina), and a Master\u2019s in Criminology and Criminal Law Sociology from the University of Barcelona (Spain). Her research focused on the judicial system and its production of institutional gender violence against women, lesbians, and travesti-transgender people. She is currently a PhD student in the Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University and holds a fellowship from the Prison Transparency Project (PTP). She has worked for fifteen years in the Justice of the Argentine Nation and has been an activist in human rights and the feminist movement. She is also a researcher at the University of Jos\u00e9 C.
