\n Prof Sheryl Hamilton and the CILCH receive SSHRC Connection Grant\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Sheryl Hamilton<\/strong><\/a> is one of several Carleton University faculty members taking part in a Canadian Initiative in Law, Culture and Humanities (CILCH)<\/em> book project. Sensing the Law<\/em> will be edited by Department of Law and Legal Studies professors Sheryl Hamilton<\/a>, Diana Majury<\/a>, Dawn Moore<\/a>, Neil Sargent<\/a>, and Christiane Wilke<\/a>. <\/strong>The book will include the work of 14 authors from around the world (Canada, United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and South Africa) from a variety of disciplines (Law, Legal Studies, English, Anthropology, Sociology, Criminology, and more). Hamilton\u2019s successful SSHRC Connection Grant application for the CILCH, a Faculty of Public Affairs Research Centre, will support a workshop for the authors participating in the project at the Wakefield Inn this May. The authors and editors will gather to provide feedback on each other\u2019s draft chapters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
