As part of the project, Professor Buss will be visiting the University of Nairobi and Professor Rutherford the University of Sierra Leone, where they will both conduct research on post-conflict economies and gender insecurity. In 2015, Professors Ibrahim and Kinyanjui will be visiting Carleton as part of the research exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the coming February and March months, Professor Buss will also be travelling to&nbsp;Canterbury, UK, where she has been invited as a visiting scholar to the Centre for Law, Gender and Sexuality, University of Kent Law School.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Associate Professor Doris Buss is announced as a co-recipient of a Canada African Research Exchange Grant to conduct research on women and post-conflict state-building in Sierra Leone and Kenya.
