The Scholars at Risk program<\/a> and Prof. Hossein Raeesi<\/a> were honored in the House of Commons yesterday (on International Human Rights Day)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gary Anandasangaree<\/strong> (MP Scarborough-Rouge Park) took that opportunity to highlight the work that Carleton and the University of Ottawa are doing through the Scholars at Risk program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof.<\/a> Melanie Adrian<\/a> and Prof. Raeesi also had an opportunity to meet Maryam Monsef<\/strong>, Minister of Democratic Institutions, and were able to share some ideas with her. It looks like there are some incredible supporters in the House!
