\n Prof. Khan Receives FPA Research Excellence Award\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Congratulations to Prof. Ummni Khan<\/a> who received the FPA Research Excellence Award<\/strong> at yesterday’s FPA Spring Social! Prof. Khan works in an area of research that explores the relationship between law and sexuality. The committee was impressed with her strong publication and presentation record and felt that her research will make a significant contribution to developing theory in this important area. Her methodology is innovative, involves a great deal of community outreach and her knowledge mobilization efforts are both creative and cutting edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, the Faculty of Public Affairs recognizes excellence in its faculty and staff with the FPA Excellence Awards. This particular award recognizes a significant research achievement by a faculty member in FPA in the preceding two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
