\n MA Grad Student Awarded 2016 Senate Medal\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Congratulations to recent MA graduate, David Meinen<\/b>, who has been named a recipient of a 2016 Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David’s thesis entitled, “Pacification through humanitarian aid: Examining Canada’s security-development role in Haiti”, was completed under the supervision of Prof. George Rigakos<\/a>, with support from second reader Prof. Dominique Marshall<\/a> and external examiner Prof. Augustine Park<\/a>. Carleton University will present David with his medal at the Fall convocation to formally commend his outstanding academic achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
