Surprisingly, this statement seems to concern particularly academics inspired by the Marxist tradition that, more often than not, gives to that term (explicitly or not) a minimalist and a very broad and general definition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drawing on what is sometimes called \u201cradical&nbsp;political economics\u201d theories (the French school of regulation, the \u201cSocial structure of accumulation theory,\u201d and so on), this presentation&nbsp;proposes a research agenda whose goals will be to underline how capitalism particularities of every epoch influence international law, and how the latter also affects global economy differently depending on the era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Law and Legal Studies is very happy to announce that the next JurisTalk guest speaker will be Dr. R\u00e9mi Bachand of the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM).
