Professor Sebastien Malette<\/a>, and his co-authors, have been awarded the  Prix du Canada en sciences humaines et sociales 2020 by the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences his book Les Bois-Br\u00fbl\u00e9s de l\u2019Outaouais \u2013 Une \u00e9tude ethnoculturelle des M\u00e9tis de la Gatineau<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prize is awarded annually to the best scholarly book written in French that has received funding from the Awards to Scholarly Publications Program. Recently<\/a>, his book was translated into English and is available through UBC Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences promotes research and teaching for the advancement of an inclusive, democratic and prosperous society.
