Originally from Ottawa, Gabriella is pursuing an Honours BA in Law and Journalism. Gabriella is one of this year\u2019s recipients of the Sarah Metrick Scholarship in Introductory Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What lead you to decide to pursue your BA at Carleton?<\/strong> I wanted to set a path to law school where I could develop different skills and experiences- Carleton allowed me to do that by letting me easily pursue a double major in Law (which allows me to develop critical thinking skills) and in journalism (which allows me to develop communication skills.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do you have a favourite part of your program?<\/strong> My favourite course was LAWS 2302 (Criminal Law) with Michael Smith.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are you hoping to do after graduation?<\/strong> I&#8217;m hoping to attend Law school with all of the knowledge and skills I have and will continue to gain at Carleton!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any advice for incoming students?<\/strong> Prioritize academics but also participate in as much as possible!
