Community Contributions

Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture, Board Member, 1998-2006, 2008-12; President, 2009-2011. Member of Black Creek Local Immigration Partnership, a CIC funded initiative to develop partnerships among agencies serving immigrants, 2008-12. Black Creek Community Capacity Building Project, an initiative to promote collaborative planning and development among agencies, residents and businesses in the Black Creek area, founding member and representative of School of Social Work, 2001-09.
