The deadline to submit an abstract has been extended to March 15, 2024.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

York University is pleased to announce a call for papers for an upcoming conference co-organized by the Center for Refugee Studies and Resource Center for Public Sociology, York University, scheduled to take place from 27-28 June 2024, in Toronto, Canada.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The conference theme is ” Making Sense of Forced Displacement in The Horn of Africa\u201d, which is the second in a series of such conferences organized by York University. Researchers are invited to submit abstracts of 250 to 400 words<\/strong>, clearly outlining the theme, topic, objectives, method, and contribution of their proposed paper, on or before 28 February 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Authors will receive notification regarding the status of their submission by 15 March 2024<\/strong>, along with manuscript guidelines for those whose abstracts are accepted. Full papers must be submitted no later than 15 May 2024, as all accepted presentations will be put into conference proceedings.\u00a0 Accepted papers will be granted the opportunity to present their work at the conference.<\/p>\n
