He also serves as the Chair of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.isanet.org\/ISA\/Sections\/ENMISA\">Ethnicity, Nationalism, &amp; Migration Studies (ENMISA) Section<\/a>\u00a0of the International Studies Association and is the Editor-in-Chief of\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/migration\">Migration Studies<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(Oxford University Press).<\/p>\n<p>In 2024\u201325, Gerasimos is a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/perma.cc\/2QCX-RUYW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science<\/a>\u00a0and a Distinguished University Scholar at the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies, The American University in Cairo. He has previously served as a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/perma.cc\/AL6M-V4KY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Visiting Scholar at the Center for European Studies, Harvard University<\/a>\u00a0(2019\u201320), and Migration Research Center, Ko\u00e7 University (2023\u201324).<\/p>\n<p>Gerasimos\u00a0holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University (2006), an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2007), and a PhD in Politics from SOAS, University of London (2016), under the supervision of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Laleh_Khalili\">Laleh Khalili<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebritishacademy.ac.uk\/fellows\/charles-tripp-FBA\/\">Charles Tripp<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"people-type":[461],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.2 -
