I am a Master’s student in Migration and Diaspora Studies at Carleton University. My research interests\u00a0examine\u00a0asylum policies in leading refugee-hosting states and how government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and humanitarian actors respond to shifts in the global refugee regime. These interests developed during an internship with the Refugee Law Project in Uganda, where I witnessed the effects of refugee policies and humanitarian aid delivery on displaced populations and observed how different actors implement government and UNHCR mandates. At LERRN, I assess project impact, monitor research outputs, support reporting processes, and prepare event documentation.<\/span><\/p>\n
