Rawan has worked with LERRN between 2020-2022 and is a Carleton University honours graduate with a degree in Journalism and Philosophy. With a love for storytelling that\u2019s blossomed from hours spent with her nose in a book, she has developed a great passion for writing and using meaningful encounters to learn about the world around her.<\/p>\n
As an Egypt-born immigrant, LERRN\u2019s mission is important to her because of its commitment to elevate and empower voices from the global south. Through this program, she has had the opportunity to exercise her passions and relay crucial stories from which people can connect and learn together.<\/p>\n
With an advanced college diploma in Film & Television Production and an extensive background in applied arts and technology, she has developed vital skills in visual storytelling that she can implement through her written work.
