Michael\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Nabugere<\/span><\/span><\/strong> is a Humanitarian Coordination and Management Expert, currently working as Settlement Commandant for Bidi-Bidi Refugee Settlement in Uganda, a home to over 234,000 refugees<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0mainly\u00a0<\/span><\/span>S<\/span><\/span>outh Sudanese.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Michael co-authored the analysis of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Refugee Survey Quarterly<\/span><\/span><\/em>, a joint project between LERRN and the RECAP Project at the University of London\u2019s Refugee Law Initiative.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>He has a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Master\u2019s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0degree in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies from the School of Advanced Study at the University of London.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>He is interested<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in researching and reading literature on responsibility<\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span>sharing in refugee protection between\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Global South and North.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>His<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>M<\/span><\/span>aster\u2019s dissertation title\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was<\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u201c<\/span><\/span>International responsibility-sharing and local integration as a durable solution in refugee protection: Exploring the relationship using Uganda as a case study.<\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"people-type":[197,199,178],"yoast_head":"\nMichael Nabugere -
