Houweyda Matta est professeure \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole de service social de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Saint-Joseph \u00e0 Beyrouth au Liban depuis 1996. Elle d\u00e9tient un dipl\u00f4me de ma\u00eetrise en service social (Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa) et de doctorat (Ph. D.) dans la m\u00eame discipline (Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al). Elle a travaill\u00e9 comme assistante sociale scolaire pendant cinq ans au Liban. Elle s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 l\u2019intervention familiale, au r\u00f4le de la famille dans l\u2019adaptation scolaire ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019identit\u00e9 du service social scolaire.<\/p>\n
Houweyda Matta has been a professor at the School of Social Work at the University of Saint-Joseph in Beruit, Lebanon since 1996. She has a masters in social work (University of Ottawa) and a PhD in the same discipline (University of Montreal). She was an assistant social worker for five years in Lebanon. Her research focuses on family intervention services and the role of the family in special education, as well as the identity of social services in the schools.<\/p>\n
