{"id":6642,"date":"2023-03-09T16:42:38","date_gmt":"2023-03-09T21:42:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/lerrn\/?post_type=cu-people&#038;p=6642"},"modified":"2025-01-13T12:35:08","modified_gmt":"2025-01-13T17:35:08","slug":"desiree-del-rosario","status":"publish","type":"cu-people","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/lerrn\/people\/desiree-del-rosario\/","title":{"rendered":"Desiree del Rosario"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Del Rosario Sosa is an educator, graduated as a primary school teacher in 1984; she holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Santo Domingo (UASD) and is a graduate of the second round of the Master&#8217;s program in Gender at INTEC.<\/p>\n<p>For the past 15 years Del Rosario has been a full professor in the Social Sciences and Humanities Area, and coordinator of the Master&#8217;s program in Gender and Equality Policies in Education.<\/p>\n<p>In her role as a researcher, she has participated as part of interdisciplinary research teams on violence, migration and legislation with a gender perspective. She is also an advisor to the Gender Equity Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, and a national and international consultant for various projects.<\/p>\n<p>La doctora Del Rosario Sosa es educadora, titulada maestra normal del sector primario en 1984; doctora en Derecho egresada de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Santo Domingo (UASD) y egresada de la segunda ronda de la Maestr\u00eda en G\u00e9nero del INTEC.<\/p>\n<p>Desde hace 15 a\u00f1os Del Rosario se desempe\u00f1a como profesora plena del \u00c1rea de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, y como coordinadora de la maestr\u00eda en G\u00e9nero y Pol\u00edticas de Igualdad en Educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En su rol de investigadora ha participado como parte de equipos de investigaci\u00f3n interdisciplinaria en materia de violencia, migraciones y legislaciones con enfoque de g\u00e9nero.
