His research examines the international politics of migration, including migration diplomacy, refugee governance, and the treatment of displaced populations in interstate relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has previously held visiting positions at the London School of Economics and Political Science, the American University in Cairo, Harvard University&#8217;s Center for European Studies, and Ko\u00e7 University.
