Rachel McNally graduated in 2026 with her PhD in Political Science from Carleton University. Rachel joined LERRN in 2019. During her graduate studies, she worked as LERRN’s Project Editor-in-Chief, editing LERRN\u2019s working papers series, facilitating LERRN\u2019s research methods and ethics course, and analyzing the geographic representation of authors in academic journals in refugee studies. She also conducted a collaborative project with refugee researchers living in Kenya about the impact of resettlement for refugees living in Kenyan camps who are “not yet” or “never” resettled, which was published by\u00a0Ethnic and Racial Studies<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Routledge<\/a>. Rachel currently works as Research Coordinator for\u00a0UnborderED Knowledge<\/a>, a SSHRC-funded Partnership Grant based at the University of Ottawa that promotes access to higher education and research opportunities for people with lived experiences of forced migration in Canada. In her own work, Rachel has researched the role of UNHCR in the resettlement of refugees with disabilities, Canadian refugee sponsorship programs, and the resettlement of refugees in small and rural communities across Canada.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
