He holds a doctorate from the School of Public Administration (ENAP) which focuses on the decision-making processes of international humanitarian organizations in relation to local capacity building. He was also a Visiting Scholar at the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research (HPCR) at Harvard University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before embarking on an academic career, Fran\u00e7ois Audet had over fifteen years of experience in the field of humanitarian aid. He was notably Head of the regional delegation for East Africa and the Indian Ocean for the Canadian Red Cross and Director of programs for CARE Canada. Previously, he worked for several years in Latin America and Southeast Asia for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ceci.ca\/en\">Canadian Center for International Studies and Cooperation<\/a> (CECI) where he acted as chief of humanitarian aid projects.
