This free, online training program is tailored for graduate students and early career researchers interested in the ethics and practice of fieldwork in forced migration studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, the Cross-Cultural Fieldwork Training Course in Forced Migration Studies will run from May 6 to 31, with a 2-week intensive program from May 6-17, and an opportunity for participants to present their research the week of May 27th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program is designed to equip emerging scholars with new research skills, to encourage reflection on ethical and methodological issues in refugee research, and to facilitate dialogue among participants. LERRN partners from around the world have contributed pre-recorded lectures, which are combined with readings and daily live discussions. The course does not qualify for a university credit, but participants who engage throughout the course will receive a certificate of completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
