\n Exploring the Implementation of the 2019 Global Refugee Forum Pledges by the Government of Kenya: A Case Study of the Dadaab Refugee Camps\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

LERRN <\/span>is thrilled to <\/span>share the results of <\/span>a<\/span> co-produced <\/span>research <\/span>on education in the Dadaab Refugee Camps<\/span> with research partners with lived experiences of displacement <\/span>residing<\/span> in refugee camps in Kenya<\/span>. <\/span>This <\/span>research <\/span>was conducted by <\/span><\/span>Goundo Diarra<\/span><\/span><\/a>, and researchers <\/span>from <\/span>the <\/span><\/span>Dadaab Response Association<\/span><\/span><\/a>: <\/span><\/span>Arte Dagane<\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span><\/span>Leomoi Ochan<\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span><\/span>Abdikadir Abikar<\/span><\/span><\/a>,<\/span> and <\/span> <\/span>Mark Okello<\/span><\/span><\/a>. The study <\/span>aim<\/span>ed<\/span> to examine t<\/span>he <\/span>extent <\/span>to which <\/span>the educational <\/span>pledges<\/span> made <\/span>by the Government of Kenya <\/span>at the <\/span>2019 Global Refugee Forum<\/span> have been implemented <\/span>in Dadaab\u2019s secondary schools, and the impacts <\/span>of these<\/span> changes <\/span>o<\/span>n educational programming <\/span>for<\/span> refugee students<\/span>. <\/span> <\/span>Read the executive summary here<\/a>. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
