Duties will include, but not be limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"social-media-and-communications\" class=\"wp-block-heading p4\">Social Media and Communications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list ul1\">\n<li>Develop, maintain and improve LERRN project communication strategy and monthly communication work plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop content for social media channels that is consistent, targeted, and impactful and aligned to project goals and objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p class=\"p1\">Coordinate and maintain LERRN online presence to increase our digital outreach and engagement (including website, Facebook and Twitter, etc.).<\/p><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"video-editing-and-digital-content-creator\" class=\"wp-block-heading p1\">Video Editing and Digital Content Creator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list ul1\">\n<li>Produce short promotional videos, podcasts, and other media content to support LERRN&#8217;s core mandate, for use across its social media platforms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with pre-production tasks such as scriptwriting, storyboarding, and location scouting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit raw footage to create compelling and visually appealing research promotional materials and knowledge mobilization products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"required-qualifications\" class=\"wp-block-heading p1\">Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list ul1\">\n<li>Be a registered student at Carleton University, enrolled in Media Production and Design, Film Studies, Communication and Media Studies, Interactive Multimedia and Design, or Journalism for the duration of the contract.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience managing social media for research projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a minimum of two years of experience in interviewing, writing, and editing articles or blogs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate strong visual storytelling skills, including the ability to create meaningful content and edit videos for diverse audiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and content conceptualization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience coordinating shoots (e.g., interviews), including scheduling and logistics planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess advanced proofreading skills and strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a supportive and productive team member in a rapidly changing, deadline-oriented environment, with strong time management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"how-to-apply\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit your resume and cover letter to <strong data-start=\"3765\" data-end=\"3786\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3767\" data-end=\"3784\">lerrn@carleton.ca<\/a><\/strong> by <strong data-start=\"3790\" data-end=\"3807\">April 3, 2026<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"3808\" data-end=\"3811\">Please include <em data-start=\"3826\" data-end=\"3879\">\u201cCommunications and Multimedia Project Coordinator\u201d<\/em> in the subject line.
