Duties will include, but not be limited to:<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p4\">Social Media and Communications<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Develop, maintain and improve LERRN project communication strategy and monthly communication work plans.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Develop content for social media channels that is consistent, targeted, and impactful and aligned to project goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">\n<p class=\"p1\">Coordinate and maintain LERRN online presence to increase our digital outreach and engagement (including website, Facebook and Twitter, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Video Editing and Digital Content Creator<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Produce short promotional videos, podcasts, and other media content to support LERRN&#8217;s core mandate, for use across its social media platforms<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Assist with pre-production tasks such as scriptwriting, storyboarding, and location scouting.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Edit raw footage to create compelling and visually appealing research promotional materials and knowledge mobilization products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Be a registered student at Carleton University, enrolled in Media Production and Design, Film Studies, Communication and Media Studies, Interactive Multimedia and Design, or Journalism for the duration of the contract.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Have experience managing social media for research projects.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Have a minimum of two years of experience in interviewing, writing, and editing articles or blogs.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Demonstrate strong visual storytelling skills, including the ability to create meaningful content and edit videos for diverse audiences.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Have experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and content conceptualization.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Have experience coordinating shoots (e.g., interviews), including scheduling and logistics planning.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Possess advanced proofreading skills and strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a supportive and productive team member in a rapidly changing, deadline-oriented environment, with strong time management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1in726y\" data-start=\"3704\" data-end=\"3721\">How to Apply<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3722\" data-end=\"3902\">Submit your resume and cover letter to <strong data-start=\"3765\" data-end=\"3786\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3767\" data-end=\"3784\">&#x6c;&#x65;&#x72;&#x72;&#110;&#64;&#99;&#97;rle&#x74;&#x6f;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#97;<\/a><\/strong> by <strong data-start=\"3790\" data-end=\"3807\">April 3, 2026<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"3808\" data-end=\"3811\" \/>Please include <em data-start=\"3826\" data-end=\"3879\">\u201cCommunications and Multimedia Project Coordinator\u201d<\/em> in the subject line.
