Refuge: Canada\u2019s Journal on Refugees<\/em><\/a> is issuing an open call for submissions on the theme of \u201cRefuge in the Time of Pandemic.\u201d Refuge is\u00a0interested in two broad types of submissions:<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0shorter research notes\u00a0(max 2,500 words) aimed at identifying important dynamics, issues and trends, and thereby helping to shape the broader research agenda; and<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0longer research papers\u00a0(max. 7,500 words) that adhere to the standard criteria of scholarly contributions to the field.<\/p>\n

Refuge\u00a0: revue canadienne sur les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s<\/em><\/a> lance un appel ouvert \u00e0 contributions sur le th\u00e8me \u00ab Le refuge en temps de pand\u00e9mie \u00bb. La revue est int\u00e9ress\u00e9e par deux types g\u00e9n\u00e9raux de soumissions:<\/p>\n

  1. De courtes notes de recherches (max. 2 500 mots) visant \u00e0 identifier des dynamiques, enjeux et tendances importantes, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner un programme de recherche plus large; et<\/li>\n

    About the Journal\/\u00c0 propos de la revue<\/a><\/dt>

    <\/p>\n

    Refuge: Canada\u2019s Journal on Refugees<\/strong><\/em> is a non-profit, open access, peer-reviewed academic journal. It is bilingual and welcomes submissions in both English and French. It is interdisciplinary and publishes both theoretical and empirical work from a wide range of disciplinary and regional perspectives from academics, advanced graduate students, policy-makers, and practitioners in the field of forced migration. The journal provides space for discussion of emerging themes and debates. The journal also features a book review section and occasionally publishes special issues on specific themes related to forced migration. All works submitted to Refuge must be original and must not be submitted for consideration with other journals. Refuge does not publish personal reflections on forced migration experiences, fiction, artwork or poetry.<\/p>\n

    Refuge: Revue Canadienne sur les R\u00e9fugi\u00e9s<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0est une revue acad\u00e9mique \u00e9valu\u00e9e par les pairs \u00e0 but non-lucratif et \u00e0 libre acc\u00e8s.\u00a0Refuge<\/em>\u00a0est une revue bilingue qui publie en fran\u00e7ais et en anglais. La revue est interdisciplinaire et publie des articles th\u00e9oriques et empiriques provenant d\u2019un large \u00e9ventail de disciplines acad\u00e9miques et perspectives g\u00e9ographiques.\u00a0Refuge<\/em>\u00a0publie des articles r\u00e9dig\u00e9s par des chercheurs actifs dans le milieu universitaire (professeurs et \u00e9tudiants dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s), par des responsables de l\u2019\u00e9laboration des politiques, ainsi que par des individus qui \u0153uvre sur le terrain dans le milieu de la migration forc\u00e9e.\u00a0Refuge\u00a0<\/em>offre un espace de discussion sur les enjeux et d\u00e9bats \u00e9mergeants se rapportant aux r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et \u00e0 la migration forc\u00e9e. La revue comprend \u00e9galement une section de comptes rendus de livres, et publie occasionnellement des num\u00e9ros th\u00e9matiques en lien avec la migration forc\u00e9e.
