The Local Engagement Refugee Research Network<\/a> (LERRN) is recruiting a Research Assistant (RA) to support research and engagement initiatives to promote meaningful refugee participation in the governance of the global refugee regime. This position will build from earlier work on the politics of refugee participation, as detailed in this research paper<\/a>, and will contribute to LERRN\u2019s support of R-SEAT<\/a> and RAN Canada<\/a>. \u00a0Working under the supervision of James Milner<\/a>, LERRN\u2019s Project Director, and in collaboration with another RA, the RA will provide research and coordination support to advance this area of work and to develop future opportunities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Duration<\/strong>: 240 hours over the Fall and Winter Terms (10 hours per week)<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Ottawa, Canada, with the option of virtual work arrangements<\/p>\n

Start date<\/strong>: 29 September 2021<\/p>\n

Remuneration<\/strong>: C$20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience<\/p>\n
