{"id":5392,"date":"2022-05-31T21:37:09","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T01:37:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/lerrn\/?p=5392"},"modified":"2026-04-07T12:41:01","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T16:41:01","slug":"east-africa-rlo-kampala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/lerrn\/2022\/east-africa-rlo-kampala\/","title":{"rendered":"East Africa RLO Evaluation: Kampala Analysis &#038; Writing Retreat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The four lead researchers of the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/lerrn\/lerrn-rsc-cls-evaluation-of-rlos\/east-africa\/\">RLO study in East Africa<\/a> &#8211; Abis Getachew (Ethiopia), Andhira Kara (Kenya), Uwezo Ramazani (Tanzania) and Mary Gitahi (Uganda) &#8211;\u00a0 and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rsc.ox.ac.uk\/research\/refugee-led-research-hub\">Refugee-Led Research Hub<\/a>&#8216;s facilitator gathered in-person for the first time in Kampala for a 5-day analysis and writing retreat. During the week, the team will develop its\u00a0set of key findings from fieldwork for the study on refugee-led organisations in the four countries, and will compare and contrast the situation in all locations.
