Establishing research chairs on forced displacement in North and West Africa<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LERRN is pleased to announce the following Call for Proposals from our Partner Organization, the\u00a0International Development Research Centre<\/a>. IDRC will support the establishment of up to four university research chairs, for up to five years: two in North Africa, and two in West Africa. The aim of the research chair positions will be to empower institutions in these regions to define research agendas on forced displacement. They will also lead on identifying practical, gender-transformative solutions that promote the social, economic, political, and health rights of forcibly displaced persons and host communities. LERRN a le plaisir d\u2019annoncer l\u2019appel de propositions suivant du Centre de recherches pour le d\u00e9veloppement international<\/a>. Le CRDI soutiendra la cr\u00e9ation de quatre chaires de recherche universitaires pour une dur\u00e9e maximale de cinq ans : deux en Afrique du Nord, et deux en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest. L\u2019objectif de ces chaires de recherche est de permettre \u00e0 des institutions de ces r\u00e9gions de d\u00e9finir des programmes de recherche sur les d\u00e9placements forc\u00e9s. Ces entit\u00e9s dirigeront \u00e9galement la recherche de solutions pratiques et sexosp\u00e9cifiques qui promeuvent les droits sociaux, \u00e9conomiques, politiques et en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 des personnes d\u00e9plac\u00e9es de force et des communaut\u00e9s d\u2019accueil.
