But once you begin looking into it, you may be surprised by what you find: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Red Bull was co-founded by an Austrian entrepreneur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the architecture buffs among you, don&#8217;t miss the Baroque architecture of Salzburg&#8217;s &#8220;Old Town&#8221;, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The snow globe was invented by Erwin Perzy, an Austrian producer of surgical instruments, in the late 1800&#8217;s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While he was born in Salzburg, Mozart spent a lot of his adult life in Vienna. So, take some time to check out Mozart Haus Museum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then later, you can then check into the Vienna youth hostel where they show &#8220;The Sound of Music&#8221; every evening at 8:00.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Located just outside Salzburg, the <strong>Eisriesenwelt<\/strong>, an ice and limestone cave, stretches more than 42 kilometres under the Alps. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot springs, vineyards, and historical sites are just a few of the sights you&#8217;ll encounter in Styria, a region of one million plus in the southeast corner of the country.
