Her thesis project focused on a novel mechanical system that collected and stored passive solar energy in homes with large\u00a0windows. After graduating, Sarah joined the Housing and Buildings team at NRCan&#8217;s CanmetENERGY-Ottawa campus as a Research Engineer. During her time with NRCan, Sarah was involved with the team&#8217;s efforts on energy transition planning for Canada&#8217;s remote communities as well as establishing\u00a0design and policy best practices to promote thermal resilience in residential buildings.
